Busy Time
Well, it's a busy time of year with NOLA Bookfair and Fringe Fest, art conferences, and Draw-a-thon now just around the corner. What have you been seeing the past few weeks? What has stood out, and what could have been better? Why?
I'm excited about the ARTDOCS fundraising auction. ARTDOCS is such a good idea for the health and well-being of so many un- and under-insured New Orleans artists (including writers, musicians, actors). I encourage everyone to go out and support this program through attending this event. It happens tonight, Thursday, Nov. 19th, at the Hefler Warehouse at 851 Magazine. There will be drinks and dj's at 6:30, and the auction starts at 7:30. It's 15 bucks (25 for couples) to get in, but again, it's for a great cause, and you can support ARTDOCS just by attending.
